Reusable Transport Packaging

...........................................

Project Description

This project explores reusability of transport packaging within the retail sector. It has identified what issues surround current transport packaging and reusable transport packaging while demonstrating how this product differs to what is currently out there.
The reusable transport packaging is aimed at grocery food items where product content and temperature can be recorded. It uses RFID tags implanted into the plastic of the packaging and then notifies suppliers and logistics with relevant information.

The packaging itself has several unique features such as washing holes around the side and bottom of the packaging to allow excess water to drain away. There are two locks on top of the lids where they both slide from side to side and they also are used to keep packaging stacked on top of it from falling. There are also two spaces to insert information by hooking it onto two prongs connected to the plastic.
